The Alghero-Fertilia Airport is just 10 km away. You can easily reach the city by taxi, shuttle bus, or rental car. Bus schedules and tickets are available on the ARST website.

Getting here

• ARST airport bus · ~20 min to the centre. Tickets ~€1–2 in advance or ~€3 on board. Bus schedules and tickets are available on the ARST website. Closest stop · Via Catalogna (Giardini Manno) — from there it’s a 5–10 min stroll along the gardens and seafront to the Loft.
• Taxi · official ranks at the terminal, typical fare ~€25–30 to Old Town. Radio Taxi: +39 079 9892028 / +39 079 9739795.
• Rental car · easy pickups at AHO; we like local providers. Bring a credit card for deposit and take pickup/return photos.

Parking & ZTL (Old Town access)

• Street parking is colour-coded: white = free, yellow = residents, blue = paid (~€1.5/h).
• Easy option: Piazzale della Pace by the marina — short, pleasant walk to Old Town; in some periods it’s free.
• ZTL rule: cars may enter Old Town to unload only 08:00–10:30 & 14:30–16:30. No parking inside the Old Town at any time.
• Tip: in high season, aim for earlier mornings or later evenings for easier parking.
